My Inaugural Blog - Congressional Steroids

I have read blogs and replied to many blogs, but this is my first to generate.

Let me first start off by writing about the waste of our tax dollars in action with the Congressional Meeting on Steriod use. This is entertainment, spend my money on finding a way to fix Social Security, our educational system, finding World Peace, term limits, or ethics reform. But the last place I want Government is in my sports. You already keep my TV under wraps, I would like to see a boob on the tube from time to time. Watching a baseball game on TV is laborous enough, don't take away the juice.

Seriously, I don't condone the use of banned drugs; but I want my elected officials taking care of the business that they were elected to handle. Let the leagues handle their own business and if they won't, then tax them to death. But, having these committee meetings is just a way to get press; not a d*mn thing productive will get done with Congress involved.

Look at the pandora's box that has already been opened, we have Al Sharpton calling for the termination of a Golf commentator for a dumb remark that had no ill intent. Our lives are full of sh*t already, we don't need Government or wanna be Government officals involved in Sports Entertainment. Keep on pretending to want to solve the ills of society and collecting a check for doing.................................................Not a d*mn thing and stay out of our Sports.

That was refreshing and theraputic. I think I am going to like blogging.

My Inaugural Blog - Congressional Steroids

Nice take, especially the golf mention. I was angered when the slip of "Lynched" by a sports announcer (and friend of Tiger's no less) created such uproar throughout the media. No ill will was intended in any way - I'm surprised Faldo didn't get thrashed just for being a part of the conversation. Neither of them realized the repercussion of her jovial statement.
